A 160,000 kcal/h air-cooled Hydraulic Oil Cooler has been successfully installed and commissioned on a heavy-duty cotton baler at a large cotton processing plant in Russia. This marks another milestone in our provision of customized industrial cooling solutions for overseas textile heavy machinery projects.
Cotton balers rely on a high-pressure hydraulic system to compress raw cotton into standard bales for storage and cross-border transportation. During prolonged, uninterrupted baling cycles, the hydraulic oil rapidly accumulates heat. Excessive oil temperature leads to decreased viscosity, accelerated aging of seals, hydraulic instability, and frequent baler shutdowns, severely limiting daily cotton processing capacity.
To address the problem of continuous overheating in the client’s large cotton baler, our engineering team customized a 160,000 kcal/h air-cooled oil cooler specifically for this Russian project. The cooler showcased on-site features a three-module air-cooled condenser structure equipped with a high-efficiency axial flow fan, achieving powerful heat dissipation even under the intense sunlight and significant temperature fluctuations of the Russian summer. The integrated circulating piping system, paired with the hydraulic power unit, ensures stable oil temperature control within ±1℃, eliminating pressure fluctuations caused by hot oil.
Key advantages of this hydraulic oil Cooling System:
* A powerful cooling capacity of 160,000 kcal/h, capable of handling the continuous heat load of multi-cylinder heavy-duty baling hydraulic systems.
* A robust and durable air-cooled design eliminates the need for a cooling tower, perfectly adapting to Russian factory layouts and requiring no dedicated water circulation infrastructure.
* A custom-designed low-temperature resistant cooling circuit ensures stable start-up and operation in the hot summers and cold transitional seasons of Russia’s inland industrial regions.
* Integrated safety protection modules: high/low pressure alarms, oil overheat protection, and insufficient flow interlock prevent sudden shutdown of the baler due to cooling system failure.
* A compact skid-mounted integrated structure facilitates on-site installation and connection to existing hydraulic power units via standard flange piping, reducing labor and cycle costs.
Customer feedback indicates a 40% reduction in hydraulic system maintenance frequency. Stable oil temperature also improves the uniformity of bale density, reducing product defect rates during the packaging process.
